ifilm English TV channel is scheduled to re-air the series ‘The Patriarch’ starting from Tuesday evening.

On popular demand, the 22-episode series, directed by Akbar Khajouee, will hit the air since Tuesday evening at 21:00 GMT.

Each episode of the show will repeat three times the next day after original screening at 02:00, 06:00 and 13:00 all GMT times.

‘The Patriarch’ is the story of an Iranian family which is run by an old school patriarch named Assdollah. He controls his family with an iron fist and his word is law.

No one dares to challenge him or talk back. He does not let any of his children out of sight, even after they are married and have their own kids. But, everything start to change, when his youngest son, Nasser is about to tie the knot and the new bride does not accept Assdollah’s terms.

Late Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Katayoun Riahi, Jamileh Sheykhi, Akram Mohammadi and late Hamideh Kheirabadi play the main roles of the series.

The show will replace the series ‘The Chef’ directed by Mohammad-Reza Honarmand.
